I’m an amateur game designer and avid tabletop gamer—mostly Magic: The Gathering and RPGs.

I’ve been playing Magic on and off since KTK; my first prerelease was SOI. I’ve slowly made my way through kitchen table, Commander, Standard, and Modern, but right now my true love is draft, especially Vintage Cube and UST. I love tempo decks.

Dungeons & Dragons 5e was my first tabletop RPG, but I’ve been branching out in the last few years. Other titles that I’ve played a bunch include Avatar Legends and Monster of the Week. As a player and especially as a GM, I tend to prefer dice-light (but not diceless) games. I’m in the GM seat more often than not.

This blog is a record of my insights as I fuck around and find out. Maybe you’ll get some use out of it, too.
